Golden Mephistopheles

No one will deny that the most brilliant artist is Nature. It takes any materials, compounds, dyes, crystals, and even precious metals.

Therefore, we have put this work which has not touched the human hand in the category «Art Object»,  It was created entirely by Nature.

The Diamond Fund( Moscow) keeps a large number of gold nuggets of any shapes and sizes. One of the most interesting found in Chukotka in 1944. It is the smallest one, just 20.25 grams, but has amazing shape.

No need to have a rich imagination to clearly see the head of Mephistopheles. This is an amazing similarity piece of native gold with the image of an evil genius, as we used to see him in works of art. And this likeness is fascinating. Immediately the question arises, is it really  not made by human hand thing? How? It just can not be.

But no, the meticulous examinations showed that the gold has never been subjected by additional processing.

Nature really creates amazing objects and phenomena. Just sometimes we need to slow our fussy running in a circle, to forget for a few minutes about our «great» problems, look around and open a lot of beauty of autumn colors,  an curved branch, the fantastic view of a cloud over our heads. Beauty and miracles everywhere, the main thing is to want to see it.
